Cranachan!! It’s less of a food and more of a dessert, actually, but it’s by far my favorite. I like mine with just a dribble more whiskey than most…
Oooh, but now I’ll have to make some!! I do hope John will like it. Sherlock isn’t nearly as impressed with my cooking for some reason.

It’s actually gotten a bit quieter up there at night, believe it or not!! Before John came round, Sherlock would be banging about with who knows what or playing his violin at all hours of the night. (That’s not to say his violin playing isn’t lovely - most of the time, anyway.) Sometimes there were even explosions or gunshots. It was dreadful!!
John must have found a way to knock him right out somehow. I for one am grateful!! He was driving away tenants with his racket.

OK, well I’m not sure why anyone would be curious about him - he was a dreadful man. I honestly couldn’t tell you anymore what I saw in him in the first place, but here you are:
The shorthand is that he was absolutely volatile, abusive and manipulative, and he’d gotten himself into trouble - serious trouble. Rather than own up to it, though, he got me dragged into it!! And that’s when dear Sherlock happened along and sorted things straight.
Let me tell you, I will never marry again!!

Hello everyone!! You can call me Mrs. Hudson, or Mrs. H if you like. My friend and tenant, John Watson, became quite popular thanks to his funny website. I think he called it a blog? Well, I wanted to give it a try. To keep up with the times and all that, you know how it is. So I asked him and my friend Marie Turner from next door to help set me up, and here I am!! I’m sure it will be fun. If you’ve got any questions about me or the boys, feel free to ask!!
And speaking of the boys, you’ll have to excuse me - they’re out and it’s my only chance to get some cleaning done. Oh, I hope I don’t run into any more thumbs…
